Email sent to parents on Friday, August 6th:

This is just a follow-up to emails we have sent earlier pertaining to our Return to School plan for 2021-22. The wearing of masks/face coverings is optional. As a parent, you have the choice to require your student to wear a mask/face covering.

Please complete the Parent Request Form ONLY IF YOU WANT YOUR STUDENT TO WEAR A MASK/FACE COVERING.

Again, we are excited to have everyone together and look forward to the new school year. Working together, we can do this!  As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Email sent to parents on Tuesday, August 3rd:

Greetings Parents:

The start of the 2021-2022 school year is just around the corner.  We are all excited about the new changes this year, but also realize that there will be small snafu’s as we navigate “life under one roof.”  Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, thoughts, ideas, etc.  It’s been 20 years since E-M has all been in one building.

Another item to note is the rapidly changing conditions surrounding the COVID variants.  As stated in our Return Plan, our intent is to start the 2021-22 school year as “normal” as possible.  We will utilize social distancing as much as possible, and masks will be optional for students and staff. However, please note that if the conditions deteriorate to the point that masks would be the best option, we would consider going to masks required.  Our sole intention is to keep our students, staff, and families safe. We are always in close contact with our local health department and will rely on their expertise to help navigate the labyrinth known as COVID19.

Again, we are excited to have everyone together and look forward to the new school year. Working together, we can do this!  As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
