Murphy Elected State FCCLA Officer

Caitlin Murphy, a junior at Exeter-Milligan High School, was recently elected as a State FCCLA officer for the 2019-20 school year.  After vigorous rounds of interviews, a FCCLA knowledge test, completed application w/references, leadership and team building activities, and a three minute presentation to voting delegates and advisors, Caitlin was one of 8 students out of 18 selected to serve on the 2019-20 state officer team.  Caitlin’s role will be as Vice-President of Competitive Events.  “It is truly an honor (and a first) to have someone from our chapter elected to a state office.” Stated E-M FCCLA advisor Mary Lou Vossler. “This has been a goal of Caitlin’s and she has worked very to hard to achieve this goal.  We are all just so excited for her!”  Caitlin will also represent Nebraska at the National FCCLA Conference in Anaheim, CA this summer.
